Valerie Mellema

Valerie has been writing all of her life through creative writing and journalism, but began Words You Want in September of 2006. Through her associate editor position, she gained great insight on the journalism industry as a whole. She is able to write over a variety of topics from horse training and dog training to metal stamping, but enjoys equine writing most of all.

Troy Mellema
Troy handles all aspects of office management and accounting. Troy is also an expert diamond, loan and sports writer. He has accumulated several accounts throughout his career with Words You Want and contributes to the daily success of the business.

Robin is an Assistant Professor of Modern Languages in Spanish at Knox College. She enjoys translating English to Spanish and Spanish to English, as the language is her passion. She has studied abroad at the University of Barcelona. She has also worked in Barcelona, Grenada and Buenos Aires, Argentina. She has also received grants to travel to Costa Rica. Lance Parker
Lance Parker attended the New Mexico Military Institute and attended college in Austin, Texas, where he studied Psychology and Fine Arts. Art is his passion, as is any form of expression. A lover of knowledge and student of life, Lance is an open minded person with a willingness to learn and help others learn as well.
Personal interests, hobbies and areas of expertise include art, martial arts, philosophy, cooking and nutrition and traveling, Epicureanism and asceticism. His range of experience spans over technology, customer service, and interpersonal relations and communication. He is well studied in eastern religions and philosophies and has traveled extensively.

Beth Wheeler
Beth has 12 years experience in designing brochures, newsletters, calendars and doing data entry. She loves to bake and is always experimenting with new recipes. In her spare time, she loves to write stories, poetry, cross-stitch and needlepoint. A story about her mother, “A Snow Flake,” is one of many stories in a book published by Loving Healing Press.
She has been an Alzheimer’s Advocate for 3 years. As an Alzheimer’s Advocate she writes letters and visits with Congress to inform them of the importance of Alzheimer’s research.

Anna has 12 years’ experience in transcribing medical reports with related editing and proofreading skills. She is an avid reader, reading all genres of fiction and nonfiction, focusing on medical issues, alternative medicine, history, and interior decorating. She also enjoys writing short stories, watercolor painting, gardening, crocheting, and cross-stitching. She is married with two adult sons, one daughter-in-law, and four grandchildren.
