Valerie has been writing all of her life through creative writing and journalism, but began Words You Want in September of 2006.

Through her associate editor position, she gained great insight on the journalism industry as a whole. She is able to write over a variety of topics from horse training and dog training to somewhat strange topics such as trailers and metal stamping.

Valerie also has 20+ years experience in the equine industry. She specializes in writing over all aspects of the horse industry from training to horse care and breeding. She is also a member of the American Quarter Horse Association.

Valerie is also the published author of The Professional Bartender's Handbook: A Recipe for Every Drink Known - Including Tricks and Games to Impress Your Guests. The book is for sale on Amazon.com, Barnes and Noble as well as various other book stores online.

 

Troy Mellema

Office Manager

Troy handles all aspects of office management and accounting. Troy is also responsible for working with writers, training and developing their skills to ensure that Words You Want consistently outperforms their competitors.

He has accumulated several large accounts throughout his career with Words You Want and contributes to the daily success of the business.

Robin is an Assistant Professor of Modern Languages in Spanish at Knox College. She enjoys translating English to Spanish and Spanish to English, as the language is her passion. She has studied abroad at the University of Barcelona. She has also worked in Barcelona, Grenada and Buenos Aires, Argentina. She has also received grants to travel to Costa Rica. Walter has been writing in one form or another for as long as he can recall. He spent six years as an automotive mechanic and has written everything from web content to fantasy fiction. His main areas of interest and expertise lie in medieval and ancient history as well as fantasy fiction writing. He is also an avid reader of many different genres, though fantasy, science fiction, history and gardening are also passions of his. Happily married, Walter lives with his wife and two young sons.
